Whether it’s a Christmas present or just a “bucket list” experience, you won’t find a better way to have the unbelievable trip of a lifetime than the KGA’s September 2017 journey to Southwest Ireland to play six of the world’s best golf links.
The Kansas Golf Association is once again presenting this opportunity in conjunction with Sullivan Golf Travel, which is based in Ireland. You can read all about this excellent customer service golf travel coordinator at www.sullivangolftravel.com.
The trip will take place from September 13th through September 20th. Included in the cost for one golfer based on double-occupancy hotel room is six rounds of golf (see list below), all ground transportation, daily Irish breakfast, a welcome and departure dinner, and seven nights of four star accommodations (five nights at Randles Court in Killarney, and 2 nights at the Vaughan Lodge in Lahinch). Airfare is an additional item. The cost is 2,585 Euros (approximately $3,100, but subject to exchange rate changes).
The itinerary includes the following beautiful and historic venues:
Waterville Golf Links – founded in 1889 and a Top Five course in Ireland
Old Head Golf Links – World’s most spectacular golf course with hole played along the high cliffs.
Ballybunion Old – One of the top courses in the world, and worth the trip on its own.
Tralee Golf Club – Arnold Palmer’s first European design and considered his best.
Doonbeg Golf Links – unbelievable vistas of the Atlantic Ocean
Lahinch Old – Old Tom Morris and Alister MacKenzie each had a hand in designing this classic links course.
