All competitors must be female amateurs and KGA/KCGA member.  Senior Amateur is open to female amateurs who are age 50 or older by the first day of the championship.  Super Senior Amateur is open to female amateurs who are age 70 or older by the first day of the championship.

Entry Fee and Deadline

$175.  Deadline for entry is Tuesday, June 12th at 4:00 pm.

Field limited to 92 total players.


36 holes of individual stroke play with gross and net scoring.  Champion to be determined in each division.  The event may be shortened to 18 holes if weather cancels either round.  Gift certificates from the host club will be awarded in amounts to be determined based on the number of total entries within each division.


Two divisions:

  • Mid-Am (age 25 to 49)
  • Senior (age 50 & older)
  • Super Senior (age 70 & older)

Course Set-Up

The golf course will be set-up at approximately:

  • TBA (Mid-Am Division)
  • 5,177 yards (Senior Division)
  • 5,177 yards (Super Senior Division)

Practice Round

Call the host facility to inquire about practice rounds.  Fees are set by the host facility.

Clubhouse and Practice Facilities

Clubhouse and practice facilities open one hour prior to the first starting time.  Practice facilities are for tournament contestants use only.

Carts, Spectators and Caddies

Carts are included for both rounds of the championship as part of your entry fee (practice round not included--see above).  Only two carts are allowed per starting time.  Spectators and caddies are always welcome at KGA Championships.

Ties & Awards

In the case of a tie for the Senior Amateur Grand Champion or the Super Senior Amateur Grand Champion, a sudden victory on-the-course play-off shall be held, weather permitting; or as with all other ties, shall be decided in accordance with The Rules of Golf (most recent edition), Appendix I, Part B.Conditions of Competition, 10. How to Decide Ties, Stroke Play, (c).

The Senior Amateur Grand Champion and the Super Senior Amateur Grand Champion shall be the competitors with the lowest aggregate gross score. Flight Awards shall be awarded to the First and Second Gross/Net winners for each Flight.

Close of Competition

The competition shall be deemed to have closed when the symbolic prize for the event has been presented, or if no ceremony, when all scores and results have been approved by the Committee.
