Female amateurs age 18 or older and not currently in high school.  Must be a KGA/KCGA member.

Entry Fee and Deadline

$180.  Deadline for entry is Monday, October 1st.

44 teams max.

Additional fees for mulligans ($5 - 1 max per player) that may be paid at the time of registration or on-site.


Holes 1-6: Four-Ball Stroke Play at 95% handicap (if the difference in handicap between teammates is more than 8 strokes, both players will be reduced by an additional 10% for the Four-Ball format only)

Holes 7-12: Foursomes (Alternate Shot) - the player with the lowest handicap will tee off on the odd numbered holes, the player with the highest handicap will tee off on the even numbered holes.  Players are listed in order of handicap index from left to right, even if they have the same course handicap. Teams will receive 50% of the combined course handicap.

Holes 13-18: Scramble - teams will receive 35% of the A player's handicap ad 15% of the B player's handicap.


Lunch will be provided immediately after the completion of play.


Teams will be flighted by the lowest GHIN handicap index.

Practice Round

Contact the host club to inquire about practice round availability and cost.

Clubhouse and Practice Facilities

Clubhouse and practice facilities open one hour prior to the first starting time.  Practice facilities are for tournament contestants use only.

Carts, Spectators and Caddies

Cart is included for the tournament as part of your entry fee (practice round not included--see above).  Only one cart is allowed per team.  Spectators and caddies are always welcome at KGA Championships.

There will be no registration at this event.  You are responsible to be at your assigned starting tee at least five (5) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time.  This will give you adequate time to receive instructions and information from the Starter.

Score Posting

Scores from each round of this championship will be posted to the GHIN Handicap System using ESC (equitable stroke control).

Close of Competition

The competition shall be deemed to have closed when the symbolic prize for the event has been presented, or if no ceremony, when all scores and results have been approved by the Committee.
