All competitors must be female amateurs; over the age of 18.  Must be KGA/KCGA members.

Entry Fee, Deadline and Field Size

$350.  Deadline for entry is Monday, July 30th at 4:00 pm.

40 teams max.


Round One - Four-Ball Stroke Play (gross and net scoring).  Team members receive 95% of course handicap.
Round Two - Chapman Alternate Shot Stroke Play (gross and net scoring).  Teams receive 60% of the A player's handicap and 40% of the B player's handicap. 

If the team member's course handicaps differ by more than eight (8) strokes, each team member's course handicap will be reduced by 10% in accordance with the USGA Handicap System Manual.


Teams will be pre-flighted based upon their Team Course Handicap.

Awards Luncheon

Awards luncheon will be held at Topeka Country Club following the second round on Tuesday, August 7th.  The cost of this function is included as part of your entry fee.

Course Set-Up

The golf course will be set-up at approximately:

Practice Round

Competitors may play a practice round after 12:00 pm on Sunday, August 5th with fees established by and payable to the host club.  Please call the Topeka CC golf shop to schedule a practice round.

Clubhouse and Practice Facilities

Clubhouse and practice facilities open one hour prior to the first starting time.  Practice facilities are for tournament contestants use only.

Carts, Spectators and Caddies

Carts are included for both rounds of the championship as part of your entry fee (practice round not included--see above).  Only one cart is allowed per team.  Spectators and caddies are always welcome at KGA Championships.

Topeka Country Club accepts TBA for purchases.

Close of Competition

The competition shall be deemed to have closed when the symbolic prize for the event has been presented, or if no ceremony, when all scores and results have been approved by the Committee.
