Directors Cup Matches

The Directors Cup is a goodwill competition between the golf associations of Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska.  It is staged every other year opposite the USGA's Men's State Team Championship and consists of round-robin Four-Ball, Foursomes and Singles matches.  Each state is represented by eight players.  Each match has three points available (one point for the front nine, one point for the back nine, one point for the overall match result).

For 2013, the Kansas team will be selected based on the final standings from the 2013 Directors Cup Team Standings.  The Directors Cup Team Standings will be determined by combining the players' 2013 KGA Player of the Year points earned along with 50 percent of the players' 2012 KGA Player of the Year points earned.  The top eight available players on the list will comprise the Kansas team which will be selected following completion of the High Plains Amateur on August 25, 2013.  Players that are currently participating on a college golf team (at any level) are not eligible for the Kansas team.
