Championship Format


36 holes of individual stroke play qualifying to determine low 64 players advancing to single elimination match play bracket.  Any player that is not exempt from regional qualifying must go through one of the five regional qualifying sites or the second chance qualifier to advance to the championship site at Milburn Country Club.

Eligibility


Any male amateur golfer with an active USGA/GHIN Handicap Index of 12.5 or less through a KGA member club.

Entry Fee and Deadline

$205.  ($95 qualifying fee with an additional $110 due for those players advancing through qualifying).  Deadline for entry is Monday, June 11th at 4:00 pm.

Defending Champion

The 108th Kansas Amateur Match Play Championship at Firekeeper Golf Course featured a high school standout and a collegiate star in the 36-hole final match.  Garden City high school standout Sion Audrain defeated Wichita State University golfer Zac Owens on the 36th hole of the final match.  Audrain's 1 up victory capped off a stellar summer golf season ending with Audrain being named 2018 KGA Player of the Year.
