36 holes of individual stroke play qualifying to determine low 64 players advancing to single elimination match play bracket. Any player that is not exempt from regional qualifying must go through one of the five regional qualifying sites or the second chance qualifier to advance to the championship site at Kansas City Country Club.
Any male amateur golfer with an active USGA/GHIN Handicap Index of 12.5 or less through a KGA member club.
Entry Fee and Deadline
$200. ($90 qualifying fee with an additional $110 due for those players advancing through qualifying). Deadline for entry is Monday, June 12th at 4:00 pm.
The 106th Kansas Amateur Match Play Championship at The Golf Club at Southwind featured two of the best junior golfers in the Sunflower State facing off in the 36-hole final match. Lenexa's Blake Allen, coming off a victory at the Kansas Boys Junior Amateur the month before, added to his trophy case after getting the best of Garden City resident and Southwind member Taylor Larsen.
