Defending Champion

In 2016, Lyons' Tim McKinnis claimed another title after cruising to a four shot victory at the 2016 Railer.  McKinnis used rounds of 73-70-68--211 total to finish at 5-under par and best University of Kansas golfer Alex Moorman and Kansas State University golfer Jack Rickabaugh by four shots.  Max Lazzo and Tyler Chapman, both of Wichita, finished in a tie for fourth place at even par 216 total.  In the Senior Division, Wichita's Tracy Chamberlin continued his 2016 domination with another addition to the trophy case.  Chamberlin's rounds of 70-72-66--208 put him at 8-under par and six strokes better than Wichita's Steve Newman.  Salina's Greg Goode finished in third.

Carts are included as part of your entry fee.  Only two carts are allowed per starting time (no exceptions).  Spectators and caddies are always welcome at KGA Championships.  Spectator carts may be available at the discretion and cost determined by the host club.
