KGA Code of Conduct Policy

Unbecoming and/or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.  Any such acts SHALL result in removal from the championship.  No warnings will be given.

This policy prohibits such acts as club throwing, swearing loud enough to be heard by others, abuse or damage to KGA or host club property, abuse of fellow competitors, KGA volunteers or staff and host club staff or members.  Intoxication is also prohibited.

Golf is a rarity in modern life: an arena where manners are thought to be a window into character.

Golf does not demand that its players be above normal human likes and dislikes and frustrations.

It does, however, insist that things be done and expressed through the ever thinning veneer of public civility.

Surely that is not too much to ask of an enterprise built around playing a little white ball into a hole in the ground.
