Format:

Super Senior (both players age 65 & over)

Championship division will play a longer set of tees then the Net & Super Senior divisions.

Entrants must be 50 years of age or older as of May 17, 2010, and have an officially verified USGA/GHIN handicap index through a KGA member club.

Format:

36 holes stroke play - gross & net age divisions (25 & under, 26-49, 50 & over).

Golf carts are included for both rounds of the championship as part of the entry fee.

Eligibility:

Entrants must be "public golfers" and have an established USGA/GHIN handicap index through a public golf course that is a KGA member club.  Contact the KGA office regarding any eligibility questions.

Kansas Four-Ball Championship   

Venue:

Alvamar Golf Course, Lawrence

Date:

June 7-11, 2010

Format:

36 holes four-ball stroke play qualifying with two divisions: Open (any age) or Masters (both team members age 40 & older).  All teams will play two rounds of four-ball stroke play qualifying to determine qualifiers and seeding for match play brackets. 

The low 32 teams in the Open Division will advance to a single elimination four-ball match play bracket.

The low 16 teams in the Masters Division will advance to a single elimination four-ball match play bracket. 

Eligibility:

Open to any amateur golfer, including non-KGA members.

54 holes of stroke play with a cut being made to low 15 and ties in each age group after 36 holes.  Official practice round included in entry fee on June 14. 

Age Divisions:  14 & Under, 15, 16, 17, 18

Eligibility:

Boys only age 18 years or less as of June 15, 2010, or recently graduated from high school.  Entrants must have a USGA/GHIN handicap index of 20 or less through a KGA member club.

Kansas Amateur Match Play Championship

Venue:

Prairie Dunes Country Club, Hutchinson

Date:

July 19-25, 2010

Format:

36 holes stroke play qualifying to determine the low 64 players advancing to a single elimination match play bracket.

Eligibility:

Open to any amateur golfer with an officially verified USGA/GHIN handicap index of 12.5 or less through a KGA member club.

Any player that is not exempt from qualifying must go through a local qualifying site to advance to the championship site at Prairie Dunes CC.   

Exemption Criteria:

- Former KS Amateur champions
- 2009 KS Am match play quarterfinalist
- KGA individual championship winners for any individual championship held since 2009 Kansas Amateur or 2010 KGA individual championship winners
- 2009 KGA Players of the Year (Open, Sr, Jr)
- Current Prairie Dunes CC club champion
- USGA sectional or national championship qualifier since 2009 Kansas Amateur
- Top 5 from KGA, Senior and Junior Player of the Year points lists from 2009.
- special exemptions issued by the KGA Executive Committee

Format:

36 holes four-ball stroke play.  Open and Junior Divisions with gross & net prizes.

Carts and lunch provided for both rounds of the championship as part of the entry fee.

Eligibility:

Open to all male amateur golfers.  One team member must be a member of a KGA member club and both must have a USGA handicap.

Father/Son, Grandfather/Grandson, Step-Father/Step-Son, Father-In-Law/Son-In-Law teams are all eligible.  Minimum age to participate is 14 years old.

Eligibility:

Open to any amateur golfer, including non-KGA members.  Field limited to 36 teams.
