
ROUND OF 16
The first place team and the second place team in each division will advance to the playoffs (Round of 16). The team that wins their respective division will host a playoff match in the Round of 16. The team that is the runner-up in their division will play a road match in the Round of 16 in the following pre-determined format below. The Round of 16 playoff matches must be played by September 1st.
Round of 16 Match #1 - Division A winner vs. Division B runner-up (match hosted by Division A winner)
Round of 16 Match #2 - Division B winner vs. Division A runner-up (match hosted by Division B winner)
Round of 16 Match #3 - Division C winner vs. Division D runner-up (match hosted by Division C winner)
Round of 16 Match #4 - Division D winner vs. Division C runner-up (match hosted by Division D winner)
Round of 16 Match #5 - Division E winner vs. Division F runner-up (match hosted by Division E winner)
Round of 16 Match #6 - Division F winner vs. Division E runner-up (match hosted by Division F winner)
Round of 16 Match #7 - Division G winner vs. Division H runner-up (match hosted by Division G winner)
Round of 16 Match #8 - Division H winner vs. Division G runner-up (match hosted by Division H winner)
The teams that win their Round of 16 playoff match will advance to the Quarterfinal Round.
Quarterfinal Match # 1 - Round of 16 Match #1 vs. Round of 16 Match #2
Quarterfinal Match # 2 - Round of 16 Match #3 vs. Round of 16 Match #4
Quarterfinal Match # 3 - Round of 16 Match #5 vs. Round of 16 Match #6
Quarterfinal Match # 4 - Round of 16 Match #7 vs. Round of 16 Match #8
DETERMINING HOST VENUE FOR QUARTERFINAL ROUND:
It is possible that the results of the playoffs in the Round of 16 could result in two teams from the same division advancing. The team to host any quarterfinal round shall be determined by the following criteria:
1. The team with the most overall wins in divisional play will host. If still tied;
2. The team with the largest number of points earned in its divisional matches. If still tied,
3. The team with the largest number of singles points earned in its division matches. If still tied,
4. Lot
PLAYOFF MATCH TIED AFTER COMPLETION OF INDIVIDUAL MATCHES (IN PLAYOFFS ONLY):
In the event of a 4.5-point to 4.5-point tie at the conclusion of the nine matches, a playoff shall be conducted according to the following procedures and matches involved (modified for 2013):
The Open (non-Senior) Singles Match players, the Senior Modified Chapman Match teams, and the Open Four-Ball Match teams. There will then be three matches played, each at sudden death starting from hole #1. This means there will be three points at stake in sudden death. The team that wins two points shall win the match. Note: all three sudden death matches must be contested against the same opponent. In the interest of time and as a convenience to the players involved, the sudden-death points for the Senior Modified Chapman Match and Open Singles Match may be contested prior to the conclusion of other matches.
