Come Play and Support the KGA Folds of Honor Tour this Fall

The KGA is pleased to announce the creation of its new KGA Folds of Honor Tour offered in partnership with the Folds of Honor Foundation, the organization behind the very popular Patriot Golf Day.

“The KGA staff and directors want to financially help Kansas military families impacted by war and our joint endeavor with the Folds of Honor Foundation is a perfect way to do that”, explained KGA Executive Director Kim Richey.  “Educational and vocational training for the spouses or children of Kansans killed in military service is a great need that will be with us for many years to come.  I am very proud that our organization is stepping up to help.”

Kansas golfers can compete in any or all of the following Four-Ball stroke play events with both gross and net scoring:

August 14th - Wichita Country Club

September 16th - Topeka Country Club

October 7th - Meadowbrook Country Club (Prairie Village)

Each event will be limited to 40 teams and spots in the field granted on a first-come, first-served basis.  The entry fee is $250 per team and entry may only be done online at www.kansasgolf.org beginning by June 30th.  The entry fee covers one round of golf with a golf cart, lunch and the opportunity to win a gift certificate at the host golf shop for both gross and net scoring.  An established GHIN handicap is required (for the net competition) and new GHIN accounts can be established through the KGA if needed.  A tax deductible charitable donation for a portion of the entry fee will be available.   Please direct inquiries or questions to kim@kansasgolf.org.
