Going Green

How about this plan?  Play a round of golf with your friends at a classic Southwest Ireland
Lahinch & Watervillegolf links and then watch the Masters that night!

That’s what 16 Kansas golfers will be doing next month during Masters week as the KGA conducts its first escorted golf trip to the Emerald Isle.   Our group will play historic and beautiful venues like Lahinch, Old Head and Waterville and we will be posting “action” photos to the KGA Facebook page along with some updates.

After you see or hear how much fun these folks have, you may be interested to know that the KGA is taking another group to Ireland next year!

August 15-22, 2015 is the week to put on your calendar.  Get your golfing friends and family together for an awesome trip to Northern Ireland.  The links to be played include Royal Portrush (home course for Graeme McDowell and Darren Clarke), Royal County Down (a top five course in the world) and Portstewart Strand (renowned finest opening hole in Ireland).

The full details of this trip will be posted to the KGA website very soon.  In the meantime, you can contact Kim Richey at the KGA (kim@kansasgolf.org) to get your spot reserved for next year.
