“Go For The Green” in 2015!

The KGA is pleased to announce an outstanding opportunity for Kansas golfers to travel to Ireland and play five of that country’s very best golf courses in August 2015.

“We had a great group of golfers experience Southwest Ireland back in April, “commented Kim Richey, KGA Executive Director.  “It left us wanting to see and experience even more of such a beautiful and historic land.  So, next year’s trip will be centered in the Dublin area.”

Cathal O’Sullivan of Sullivan Golf Travel, based in Dublin, has built an outstanding itinerary that features six days of golf at five outstanding venues, including two rounds at Royal County Down, the country’s best known and highest rank golf course recently added to the British Open rotation.

The other golf courses to be experienced are Portstewart Golf Club in Strand, Ballyliffin Golf Club in Glashedy, Royal Portrush Golf Club in Dunluce and Ardglass Golf Club.  Royal County Down will be the final two days of the trip.

The date of departure is August 14th with an overnight flight to either Dublin or Belfast arriving early on Saturday, August 15th.  The first day is for acclimating to the time change and enjoying the sites of the area after the coach ride to the hotel.  Each day begins with a full Irish breakfast that is included in the package.  All transportation is provided on a luxury coach and included in the cost.  The group will stay in the Four Star Bushmills Inn for the first four nights then transfer to another Four Star hotel, Slieve Donard, for the final three nights. Rooms are double occupancy but can be upgraded to single occupancy.  The flight home will be on Saturday, August 22nd.

For the full details and price information, please contact Kim Richey at kim@kansasgolf.org.  There are a limited number of spots available for this trip, so if you have a serious interest you should get your reservation made with the KGA as soon as possible.

If you need any more coaxing, take a look at www.sullivangolftravel.com or just get on the Internet and research any of the five golf courses listed above.  Any serious golfer has to “go for this green”!
