KGF Tee Time Auction for Scholars Begins March 27

Would you like to play golf AND help our Kansas junior golfers go to college? Sounds easy and it is – if you participate in the 2015 Tee Time Auction for Scholars.

On March 27, Kansas Golf Foundation will open its annual Tee Time Auction, giving you a chance to win a round of golf and carts at one of 20 Kansas golf courses, including Prairie Dunes, Shadow Glen, Flint Hills National and Hallbrook.  Treat yourself and your golf group to golf on one of the great courses in the state, or use it as a gift for family, friends or a colleague.

And here’s the great part: the auction supports Kansas junior golfers, because all proceeds go to the Kansas Junior Golf Scholarship.  Each year, we give $25,000 in scholarships to 20 deserving junior golfers attending college in Kansas. Our scholarship really makes a difference, too. We all have heard about student debt increasing at an alarming rate. In Kansas, the average college graduate leaves with $26,229 in debt. So now, more than ever, Kansas students need financial help to pay for college.

This year our auction site is mobile-friendly, which should make it easier to set up your bidding account, view and search the auction items, and receive automated bid updates. If you’re the successful bidder, you’ll be notified so that payment can be made securely online.
