2018 KGA Competition Schedules Announced

The Kansas Golf Association has another great slate of venues for its 2018 competition schedules.  With the KGA’s recent merger with the Kansas Women’s Golf Association, the KGA is proud to provide a slate of championships and competitions for men and women golfers of all ages and abilities. 

The KGA will kick off the men’s championship season with the Mid-Am Team/Senior Team at Manh
attan Country Club on April 30-May 1.  Stagg Hill Golf Club in Manhattan will host the Boys Junior Amateur in June.  The 108th Kansas Amateur will be contested at Firekeeper Golf Course near Topeka in late July.  Other men’s championships include the Senior Amateur at Salina Country Club in August and the Mid-Amateur in October at Crestview Country Club in Wichita.  The KGA will continue to offer many weekend championship playing opportunities for men in 2018.  Click here for the 2018 Men’s Championship Schedule.

The ladies will visit Wichita Country Club in June for the Senior/Super Senior Championship.  Stagg Hill Golf Club in Manhattan will host the Girls Junior Amateur in June.  The Kansas Women’s Amateur will be held in July at historic Indian Hills Country Club.  The annual Tee-Fore-Two Championship will be held at Topeka Country Club in August.  Click here for a full listing of 2018 KGA Women’s Competitions.

The KGA Senior Series and Mid-Amateur Series program will return in 2018 with another fantastic lineup of courses.  The slate of 19-one day events across the state of Kansas includes some of the best courses in the Sunflower State.  Click here for the 2018 schedule.

Junior golfers in Kansas will have an array of competitions to participate in the upcoming year.  The KJGA sectional program will offer a mix of one-day and two-day competitions in 2018 that are spread out geographically across the entire state.  The KJGA program is open to male and female juniors.  The season-ending Junior Section Championship will take place at Wellington Golf Club in late July.  Click here for the 2018 KJGA Program Schedule.

The Kansas Golf Association conducts approximately 80 competitions annually for men and women of all ages and abilities.  The KGA also conducts the annual Kansas Cup competition for member clubs.
