Entry Fee Refunds Policy


Refund Policy for KGA Championships

The KGA’s policy is no refunds except for sickness or extenuating circumstances.  To withdraw, the please notify the KGA office immediately.  It is the player’s responsibility to properly notify the KGA staff of any withdraw as soon as possible.

  • If a player properly withdraws prior to the close of entries, upon proper written request, the player will receive a full refund of the entry fee, less a $20 administrative fee.
  • If a player properly withdraws after the close of entries and more than 48 hours prior to the start of the event, upon proper written request, the player will receive a refund of 50% of the entry fee.
  • No refund will be made to a player that withdraws less than 48 hours prior to the start of the event.


Refund Policy for KGA Senior Series

  • If a player properly withdraws at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the competition, upon proper written request, the player will receive a full refund of the entry fee, less a $20 administrative fee.
  • A player may transfer any KGA Senior Series entry to any other KGA Senior Series event without a refund penalty. 
  • If a player must withdraw from a KGA Senior Series event, it is the player's responsibility to contact the KGA office and/or KGA Senior Series Commissioner as soon as possible.  If a player fails to notify of any withdraw, that entry is not eligible for refund.


Refund Policy for KJGA Sectional Events

  • Entry fees will only be refunded if the section event becomes full or if the event is cancelled (and not rescheduled) due to weather.
  • Refunds for withdraw due to a medical reason must be presented to the KGA office with a doctor's note to verify injury or medical condition.
