Defending Champion

The 107th Kansas Amateur Match Play Championship at The Kansas City Country Club featured two of the best collegiate golfers in the Sunflower State facing off in the 36-hole final match.  Wichita State University standout golfer and Goodland native Gage Ihrig defeated Wichita resident and Oklahoma State Cowboy Sam Stevens in the 36-hole final match.  Ihrig's 4&2 victory capped off a stellar summer golf season ending with Ihrig being named 2017 KGA Player of the Year.
